Why are you so shocked...video cards use to cost $600/card x3 = $1800 for a triple SLI....

Updated with new prices. Best deal from ATI is now actually the 4890 since prices on EVERYTHING else (both Nvidia and ATI) have gone up.

Updated.

Prices have moved down across the board except for the 4890 and a few others which are both higher priced and completely out of stock. Old(er) stuff is being phased out quickly now. Nvidia is getting ready for Fermi stuff and ATI is scaling down the 5xxx series.

The 4850 is the best ATI deal again and the GTS-250 is the best Nvidia deal again. The price cuts on the 5770 have made that a lot more competitive.

Probably going to see more and more "higher end" used video cards on sale from "last" (pretty current though realistically) as people move to the newer Dx11 stuff.

Updated again. The 5770 seems like the best deal to me when I look at those numbers. It has the latest features (Dx11, etc.), you can get playable FPS in the latest games by either running at a lower resolution with max settings or at medium settings at a higher resolution and to top it all off you can find deals for it under $140.

Updated again but this time made in excel and saved as an image. Easier to update this way and easier to link. Old cards removed. Everything on this list is Dx11.

LOL at 470 being better deal than 465. 5770 is still a really solid card price-to-reasonable-performance.

gtx 470 looks really sweet price/performance right now
esp if you can get it for under 300 after tax/ship like some deals have been going for.

EDIT: REMOVED. TYPOS.

Updated.

Everyone is expecting price drops now as the companies start to actually compete with each other again.

What the heck is up with Nvidia scaling on Bad Company 2?

Oh shit, thanks for noticing that. I accidently put in minimum fps instead of average.
